The Library Customer Services Team has an exciting opportunity to deliver accessible and inclusive front line services to students and researchers across the University. Responsibilities include working on Information Desks to support students to use both physical and digital resources for study and research. You will offer a positive welcome to our customers both face to face and online using excellent communication skills to support answering physical and virtual enquiries. Support is also delivered at the point of need via roving and requires excellent customer focus and the ability to triage a wide range of enquiries including providing basic IT assistance.
Work Pattern for this open-ended 21 hours per week position will be as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8.45-4.45 to include Bank Holiday Mondays, University closure Tuesdays and January 2 when it falls on a contracted working day. Tuesday and Wednesday based at the Veterinary Sciences Library at Langford http://www.bris.ac.uk/library/locations-opening/veterinary-sciences-library/ and Monday, based at one of the Clifton based STEMM libraries.
