The GW4 Alliance seeks a Talent and Skills Manager who will work closely with the GW4 Director, GW4 staff and other key stakeholders across four GW4 Alliance universities – Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and Exeter. The remit is to develop talent across the alliance in the postgraduate researcher, early career researcher and academic staff development spaces.
The post-holder will coordinate a variety of activities to support the development of talent and skills partnerships, provide support for developing Doctoral Training Entities and support the GW4 strategic objectives (to be agreed by the GW4 Board).
The post-holder will act as the project coordinator of the GW4 Crucible programme. Activities will include updating and developing the GW4 online toolkits, incorporating recommendations for securing, developing, establishing and managing partnerships based on a synthesis of learning and identified best practice. They will also support the development and implementation of shared and joint training opportunities across the four-member Alliance.
