Due to size, complexity and ongoing changes the School of Vocational Engineering, Health and Sciences requires an Administration Officer to support their team. There will be a high volume of HR work from now through to the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. The position will be for 2- 3 days per week.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Administering paperwork for large volume contract renewals (fixed-term and casual)
  • Maintaining casual staff engagement and compliance
  • Updating and maintaining organisational data
  • Follow up on routine HR requests from managers and staff
  • HR record keeping and document management
  • OH&S administration
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy of School HR information

The successful applicants will be expected to have:

  • HR administration experience in a large and complex environment
  • High attention to detail
  • High professionalism and confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Appointment may be subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
