Seeking an experienced Visiting Professor to deliver course relating to a course in Sales and Cross Culture Negotiation, for delivery in February 2020.  The delivery of the course will be in 1 month, including 4 days face-to-face intensive in Vietnam.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

All Academic employees must hold a relevant doctorate in a business related discipline.

• Teaching experience at the graduate level preferred.
• Must meet Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) requirements, all non-Vietnamese academic candidates must have at least 5 years relevant experience, teaching in a University environment.
• English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.0 (or equivalent) for non-native English speakers.

COURSE DELIVERY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Courses are delivered face-to-face in a one-time intensive weekend format (Friday-Monday, 8:30 am-6pm) either both campuses. Visiting Professors are expected to review the course content in Canvas prior to course delivery and to comply with the Learning Outcomes specified in the Course Guide (syllabus) associated with the course. Guidance and support for Canvas will be provided by the respective RAGC Program Lead (MBA or MIB program) and/or Head of Department. Visiting Professors are also required to be available to students remotely during the 12-week term within which the intensive weekend resides in order to mark assessments and provide feedback to students when appropriate. Final grades must be submitted based on the published RMIT Academic Calendar.

REMUNERATION

The gross remuneration* for the Visiting Professor will be as follows:

 - For one intensive course: US$9,225**

For other teaching accommodations, remuneration will vary.

* A 20% withholding tax will be applied pursuant to Vietnamese regulations.

** Coverage of visa fee, flight, accommodation is included in the above remuneration packages.
