Centre of Cardiovascular Medicine and Devices

Applications are sought for the post of Centre Administrator within the Centre of Cardiovascular Medicine and Devices at the William Harvey Research Institute. The Centre has been created to bring together a critical mass of excellent researchers to maximise the impact of research in cardiovascular medicine and Devices with the long-term operational aim of translating that research to the bedside. The Centre is expanding with a core of 9 academics staff, including both clinical and non-clinical investigators. The Centre is based within the John Vane Science Centre on the Charterhouse Square Campus of Barts and The London Medical School within Queen Mary, University of London in the heart of the City of London in close proximity to the Barbican Arts and Music Centre. The successful candidate should be a highly enthusiastic and experienced administrator. Familiarity of the NHS or academic environment would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

The post is full time (35 hours per week) and on a contract that is fixed term to 31st March 2021 in the first instance. The starting salary will be from £27,251 - £33,615 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave pro rata, a pension scheme, interest-free season ticket loan and family-friendly working.
