About the position

The School of Nursing and Midwifery undertakes a wide range of teaching and research programs in the area of Nursing, Midwifery, Maternal and Child care, Aged care, Health service design, Wellness, Time critical nursing, Supportive care and Wound management. These interconnected programs combine to form centres of excellence based within our clinical networks and Research Centres.

The Bachelor of Nursing (Post Registration) is a program delivered in Singapore and Mauritius for diploma-educated Registered Nurses to achieve bachelor’s degrees. The students taught in this course are based in Mauritius at the Polytechnics Ltd (PML) campus. The School is seeking a teaching focussed Level B academic with expertise in contemporary nursing practice and facilitating transnational undergraduate education who has the capacity to travel overseas during the period of the appointment.

This position is expected to develop, coordinate and teach students for diploma-educated Registered Nurses to achieve bachelor’s degrees via various methods.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will possess a PhD and/or Masters in Nursing or a related discipline, or currently enrolled in a PhD. You will be registered or eligible to register with AHPRA with current or recent participation in clinical nursing practice. You will bring demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development in tertiary nursing education. And finally, you must be eligible to register in Mauritius.
