The Associate Director (Postgraduate Policy & Operations) is a strategic role in the Centre for Doctoral Studies. The role holder provides oversight of governance, regulatory and quality assurance frameworks for postgraduate research (PGR) degrees, management of PGR funding (in particular, internally-funded scholarship schemes) and leads a team of staff working across a range of PGR processes and activities to deliver a high-quality student experience. The role holder works closely with the Deans for Doctoral Studies and the Director of Research Talent in the delivery of King’s new PGR Strategy, in particular, providing leadership and advising on policy and operational aspects relating to the postgraduate student journey.

The ideal candidate will have an in depth understanding of PGR policy, governance and funding. Your proactive approach will be crucial in further strengthening links with other professional services, in particular, Students & Education, so that PGR students receive the very best support and experience.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.

Interviews will be held on 24/25 September 2019.
