- Level 9 - $110,243 to $116,514 pa (plus 9.5% superannuation)

Through the application of your significant judgement and high level problem solving skills, you will deliver a high quality legal service to ensure the University achieves its academic, research and commercial objectives and complies with its legal obligations. You will be involved in the project management of early stage IP and commercialisation opportunities arising from research and aligned with the University strategic direction.
To be successful you will:Hold a NSW practising certificate.
- Have experience in drafting and negotiating agreements.
- Have superior time management skills.
- Be accomplished in liaising with and advising a diverse client base.

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Engagement) encompasses the Research Office, the Office of Global Engagement and Partnerships, the Office of Indigenous Affairs, the four University Research Centres plus a number of strategic agendas including ethics and compliance, commercialisation of research, the AgriPark and contribution to the University Strategy. The DVC RDI, in collaboration with the Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement (Research and Partnership), stewards the development of collaborative connections between CSU and industry, end-users and stakeholders to strengthen and expand the research agenda. Closer strategic partnerships are sought based on the internationally competitive nature and relevance of CSU research and the opportunity to provide Higher Degree by Research students with a more comprehensive training.
The Research Office is a key operational unit within the RE portfolio. The critical role of the Research Office is to provide an integrated suite of high standard research administration and support services. Effective leadership of the Research Office is essential to ensure excellence in research higher degree candidature management, research grants and contracts administration, research finance and commercialisation, research information management and reporting, research compliance and research policy development. These activities are undertaken through active liaison with internal and external stakeholders and a strong communication program.
