This is an exciting opportunity to appoint a new lecturer in palliative care. The post holder will play an important role in the senior academic team of the Cicely Saunders Institute. They will develop a programme of grant-funded quantitative health services and clinically applied research focussed on palliative care and its interface with relevant fields. This will be in collaboration and/or increasingly as a PI. They will publish high quality research outputs. They will also play a major role in delivering, developing and managing high quality postgraduate and undergraduate education, including quantitative, epidemiological and basic statistical methods, to doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and others. They will contribute to and in collaboration with the management, strategy and further development of the Cicely Saunders Institute, Florence Nightingale Faculty, the other Health Faculties, King’s and King’s Health Partners (KHP). They will be expected to take on a leadership role in one or more of the Cicely Saunders Institute Executive Groups.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment and a presentation.
