The Built Environment and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) Research Institute is looking to recruit a Research Associate to work on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Research Associate will work on a project in collaboration with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to develop Sensor Prototype to monitor the insecticide level on walls in India. The task would involve hardware development (PCB design, development and validation) as well as software design and implementation.

The position will require the successful applicant to assist with the planning and implementation of the project and research resources in addition to contributing to publications and dissemination of research outputs, including presentations at project working meetings and related conferences.

Applicants will be near to completion or hold a PhD in Sensors, Computing or Engineering related subject ideally with knowledge of machine learning with excellent planning/project management and research skills.
