Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD) is a faculty of Queen Mary University of London, and a member of the prestigious Russell Group.  The School is ranked 3rd in the UK for Medicine (Guardian University Guide 2018) and now offers a five-year MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in Medicine. 

QMUL (Malta) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Queen Mary and is based on the island of Gozo in Malta. QMUL (Malta) Ltd operate across several sites in Gozo, Malta including the Anatomy Centre, temporary teaching facilities at the Sir M A Refalo 6th Form College, residential accommodation in Marsalforn, student accommodation on Malta, and soon from the new QMUL Malta campus.

Applications are invited for the post of Curriculum Operations Administrator (Phase 1 and Assessments) on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the QMUL Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Malta campus. The post holder will work within the growing Curriculum Operations team supporting the Phase 1 Curriculum Operations Manager and the Academic team in the provision of administrative support relating to the successful delivery of the MBBS programme, with a particular focus on years one and two and assessment. The role will cover a broad range of functions including, but not limited to; assessments, enrolment, timetabling, supporting teaching and learning activities, admissions, record keeping, quality assurance support, information provision and committee work.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role within an education or customer focused environment. You will have a strong commitment to the delivery of outstanding customer service, with broad experience of administration processes and operational support as working as part of a team. You will be detail focused, able to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate an aptitude for problem-solving. Additionally, you will be customer oriented and able to communicate confidently and effectively with students, staff and a diverse range of stakeholders of all levels. A flexible attitude and willingness to undertake a range of duties is essential.

This post will be employed by QMUL Malta Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Queen Mary University of London and will be based in Malta. The post is full-time and based upon a notional 35 hours per week. The salary is €21,996 per annum. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave.
