The School of Psychology is recognised both nationally and internationally for outstanding achievements in teaching and learning, research and community engagement. The school provide high quality, fully accredited training in professional postgraduate programs and undergraduate psychology.
An opportunity exists for a Lecturer to predominately manage the curriculum for and teach the highly specialised area of philosophical and theoretical Psychology. This subject is essential in preparing students for entry into Honours. This subject is also taught by University of Wollongong (UoW) staff at the Singapore Institute of Management campus, and therefore offshore delivery will be required.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in teaching philosophical and theoretical Psychology, as well as teaching psychology at an undergraduate level in general. Applicants should also have experience in subject coordination, be familiar with UoW learning platforms, have a proven ability to manage large student cohorts and be willing to supervise research students at Honours and Postgraduate level. Candidates with innovative teaching experience, an established research profile and a commitment to positive change would be highly regarded to sustain and further advance this success.
