An exciting opportunity now exists for a strategic and inspiring leader to take up the role of Director, Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), the Director will be a key member of the Research and Innovation leadership group and responsible for leading the Newcastle Innovation Unit, ensuring that it provides the critical link between the University and industry.
Building upon the University’s already strong record of commercialisation and collaboration, the new Director will deliver on the priority areas of the University’s Strategic Plan 2019-2025, including the University’s Business and Industry Connect Strategy.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of strategic leadership in innovation, commercialisation and knowledge exchange. They will have developed successful collaborations with industry, government and non-government organisations, which have led to increased revenue streams and tangible commercial outcomes.
