The position of Senior Conduct Coordinator supports the experiences of the residential community, responding to residential conduct matters and is responsible for the development and delivery of preventative educational and training workshops for residents. The role further provides project support to the Senior Manager, Residential Education and Deputy Director, Accommodation Services in relation to compliance, initiatives and programs.

Skills & Experience

In order to be the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience, knowledge and/or training. 
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing effectively and empathically with young adults, building strong social interaction with others of different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, and be accepting of diversity and individual differences
  • Experience in and understanding of investigation processes, including conducting interviews, developing reports and providing recommendations to Senior Staff. 
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including proven capacity in case recording, report writing and development of behavioral management plans.
  • Experience in effectively managing and prioritising a caseload of residents with behavioural issues and/or complex needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of policy, reporting and legislative requirements associated with the discipline.
  • Ability to contribute strategically to the department through benchmarking of educational programs, with a continuous improvement  approach towards duties and responsibilities.
