SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING COORDINATOR, Sloan School of Management, to serve as a key member of the Admissions team and manage marketing projects for Sloan master’s programs (MBA, MFin, MBAn, Sloan Fellows MBA, MSMS). Will collaborate with program and student services offices; plan and implement strategic digital marketing activities (social media platforms, event emails, content on influencer websites, and student blogs); work to increase the quality and diversity of leads, drive event registrations, and increase applications; and assist with day-to-day operations and other Admissions activities as necessary.  Responsibilities include coordinating promotional activities for recruiting events, working with outside vendors; planning, implementing, and optimizing event invitation strategy, tracking, and reporting on registrants and attendees; creating event email invitations and forms in the Slate system; updating the event listing on Admissions’ websites; planning, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing strategy and maintaining content calendar across social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.); creating social media campaigns and designing and writing content based on marketing goals and messages; managing school profiles and event listings on top influencer websites; working with current students on content for blogs and social posts; and creating and generating detailed social media metrics and developing complex reports. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; at least one year of professional communications experience, preferably in a marking or events coordinator role; ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; discretion and good judgment with confidential information/issues; knowledge of social media metrics and best practices; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; and excellent interpersonal skills for representing Admissions, MIT Sloan master’s programs.  Experience with a CMS (WordPress, Ektron), CRM (Slate), and SharePoint highly desired.
