POSTODOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Materials Science and Engineering, to perform organic synthesis of small molecules and study self-assembly and nanostructure properties as part of the Ortony Group. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  experience designing and characterizing systems that undergo molecular self-assembly and carrying out nanoscale characterization.  A Ph.D. in chemistry and extensive experience performing organic syntheses is preferred, but those with a Ph.D. in related fields (materials science, chemical engineering, etc.) will also be considered. Seek self-learning, self-motivated individuals with strong knowledge base and technical skills in chemical synthesis, purification, and characterization of small amphiphilic molecules.  Must be able to demonstrate strong mentorship, multitasking, and communication skills.  Job #17864
