We’re looking for an innovative, creative and detail focussed Senior Marketing Officer to join our central Marketing Team.
As part of this team you’ll assist the Marketing Manager to develop, manage and implement innovative and inspiring annual marketing plans to support student recruitment targets, showcase the student experience and promote and enhance our reputation as a Russell Group university.
Your experience will span the full marketing mix. You’ll be comfortable copywriting and developing complex printed materials, briefing agencies to develop visual identities, creating informative and aspirational content, and designing and delivering effective campaigns across print and digital channels.
We need a natural organiser, used to sourcing and understanding data, information and content from various stakeholders and sources to inform your projects. Extensive experience in a fast-paced, demanding marketing environment is desirable and you should be practised in taking briefs, delivering projects on time and on budget and developing and managing content across existing and newly identified channels. You’ll ensure content and use of channels is innovative and impactful and makes best use of sector insight. You’ll be keen to learn and adopt new processes, will possess robust project management skills and be familiar with measuring and reporting success.
Knowledge of marketing within higher education, specifically postgraduate audiences, is desirable but not essential.
In return, we offer a great package, an exciting and thought-provoking working environment with inspiring colleagues, both our staff and students.
Please see the job description and person specification for further details about the role.
