The University of Lincoln is looking for an exceptional candidate to join its ICT team as Information Security Manager. Information security runs through every aspect of the operation of the ICT department and it is essential that the operation of all ICT services are delivered in a manner that protects the University and in particular protects all personal and confidential data and information.

This role will actively contribute to supporting the successful operation of the ICT department and providing an excellent experience for all members of the department, its customers, its suppliers and other partners. Therefore willingness to contribute at all levels, strong information security skills and experience, ability to multi-task, excellent work ethic, the ability to successfully collaborate with and motivate colleagues across multiple teams, and an ability to communicate effectively are essential for this role.

Key Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Experience of working within a large and complex organisation
• Information security skills, experience of data protection, compliance, relevant legislation and regulation within a complex IT environment
• Experience of working within and leading non directly managed cross disciplinary teams
• You will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business
