Overview

The School of Business and Law develops industry-ready graduates through high quality teaching and learning experiences and engaged, applied research. The School offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate, coursework and research Business and Laws degrees designed to give students relevant theory, practical work experience, and key employability skills.

In 2019 the School was recognised as the top public university in Western Australia for Teaching Quality and Graduate Satisfaction in the undergraduate fields of Business and Management, and Law and Paralegal Studies. In 2020, the School will be offering units in Business Japanese and Business Mandarin in its revised International Business major in the Bachelor of Commerce degree.

The Role

The School of Business and Law is seeking to appoint a Teaching and Research Scholar (ALEVB/C) with expertise and experience in International Business.

The roles will contribute to the growth of their relevant discipline; in both research and teaching. Applicants with appropriate qualifications, research and teaching expertise in any of the above listed or closely related fields are invited to apply.

Essential criteria 

To be considered for these opportunities you will need to have:

  • successfully completed a PhD in a relevant discipline
  • a strong record of research and tertiary level teaching experience 
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese will be looked upon desirably

Benefits & Remuneration

These full-time, ongoing positions attract a salary of $99 043 to $117 312 (ALEVB) or $120 961 to $139 228 (ALEVC) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
