Summary

The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) is a public university funded by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) within Iraq (www.krg.org). It is committed to excellence in teaching and research. Along with meeting international standards in academic management, the University plans to expand to a new campus through millions of dollars as an initial investment. While in its development and expansion phase, the University’s R&D team expects the regions exceptional students to be studying and earning degrees at this state-of-the-art campus.

To support the University’s strategic development within the next five years, the University is now seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified candidate to fill in the position of Dean for the School of Science and Engineering. The candidate will be expected, along with the Deputy Rectors to provide strategic development plans for the approval of the leadership of the University in support of the Chancellor’s vision for the University. As such, the successful candidate will aim to provide an innovative learning community for the School of Science and Engineering and preparing the school’s students for Kurdistan’s market.
