Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 497236), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Medicine, Medical Education or a research-based doctorate degree in Health Sciences or related disciplines with at least 3 years’ post-qualification teaching experience at tertiary level. Preference will be given to those with professional teaching qualification in Medicine or Health Science; and professional knowledge of Internal Medicine education and assessment. Those with higher qualifications and at least 10 years’ teaching experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Lecturer.
The appointee will take up teaching responsibilities for various courses under the Department. He/She will support and coordinate teaching and assessment for medical curriculum and related health science disciplines. He/She will also conduct data collection and analysis, write research reports and resource packages, organize professional development workshops, and perform any other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable for Senior Lecturer.
