Resource Manager - Developmental Neurobiology
The Centre for Developmental Neurobiology is recruiting for the position of Resource Manager. The job is to lead on the effective coordination and deployment of resource within a vibrant and world-class research centre. The role holder will work closely with the Director of the research centre and other key personnel to deliver the best possible environment for developmental neurobiology research to thrive at KCL.
The role holder leads a team of people to provide an essential comprehensive technical service to the research activities within the CDN. This includes the management of CDN research facilities and shared equipment. The role holder provides information and advice that will contribute to financial, strategic and resource management and planning. The role holder will have a drive to improve and adapt processes and service to meet scientific need, ensuring financial and environmental sustainability wherever possible.
Candidates will ideally have a PhD in a biomedical science subject, or equivalent experience and should have previous experience in a research laboratory environment. Experience of use of a wide range of scientific equipment and biological/analytical techniques is essential. Candidates should have strong planning and coordination skills and be effective communicators.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
This is a full-time post.
