Applications are invited for the position of PA and Administration Officer at Queen Mary University of London, Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD). The SMD is one of three Faculties in the University. It is a leading medical and dental school that offers international levels of excellence in research, teaching and public engagement. The SMD is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to provide comprehensive personal assistant and general administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and his supporting team when required. Working together with the administrative team within the Vice Principal for Health’s Office, the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the COO’s own office, providing diary and administrative support, minuting meetings, information management, records management and other professional support in a highly proactive and fast-paced working environment.
The post is full time and for an indefinite period. There will be a probation period. Starting salary will be in the range £33,615 - £39,483 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
