Their tasks are directly related to the tasks of the Executive Board. There are three clusters of Executive Staff: General Executive Management and Legal Affairs, the Operational Management Office, and Policy and Strategy Development.

Employees working in the field of internationalisation are expected to possess expertise in relation to multiple aspects of this broad range of duties and be able to express the links between different aspects as part of their work.
We are looking for a Europe policy officer who can start on 1 November 2019.

You will support the Director of International Affairs and the Executive Board, the Rector Magnificus in particular, with formulating and realising UvA activities within EPICUR. Together with colleagues at the UvA and from the EPICUR partner universities, you will be expected to translate strategic goals into concrete initiatives, taking the implementation of the results into account. Alongside colleagues from the relevant faculties and partner universities, you will help to turn EPICUR into a success.
Your tasks will focus on EPICUR. In addition, you will carry out a number of other policy tasks within the Internationalisation team and Academic Affairs department.
You will work closely with colleagues from the Internationalisation team, as well as with stakeholders such as the faculties, Student Services, Communications Office and Executive Staff departments.

- the ability to develop a network, both within an organisation and in an international context;
- excellent verbal and written communicative skills in both Dutch and English. Command of other European languages is an advantage;
