BIOMAP Research Associate and Project Manager
St John’s Institute of Dermatology at KCL are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Skin Therapy Research Unit to manage a new programme of research in inflammatory skin disease.
This post, the Biomarkers in Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis (BIOMAP) Research Associate and Project Manager, will manage, coordinate and have oversight of the BIOMAP research project and related programmes of research at KCL. In collaboration with key national and international partners, our aim is to define and refine outcomes of importance to patients, map and augment the data and bioresource underpinning BIOMAP, and analyse genetic and associated clinical and molecular datasets to characterise the genetic (and environmental) basis for susceptibility, prognosis and treatment response in inflammatory skin disease.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, understand and have experience of clinical research and data management, be highly organised, able to lead and problem solve, and enjoy working as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview and presentation. Interview will take place on 06 September 2019.
