Research Services

In the UNE Strategic Plan 2016-2020, research is of high strategic priority. Research Services provides a focal point to facilitate and support the University’s research efforts through provision of high-quality administrative services and support to manage, develop and promote research, research training, knowledge transfer and innovation.

About the role

The Research Integrity Manager is responsible for ensuring UNE’s compliance with the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018 (ACRCR). This involves developing and implementing policies and processes for ensuring compliance with the ACRCR, developing and presenting relevant training, managing the network of Research Integrity Advisors and managing complaints related to research conduct.

The Research Integrity Manager works collaboratively with staff across UNE and reports to the Director, Research Services under their broad direction.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management of research integrity or research ethics processes and procedures, and in developing policy and policy-related support documents. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders is essential. The Research Integrity Manager will be required to self-manage multiple process concurrently.
