MANAGER OF STAFFING SERVICES, Human Resources-Staffing Services, to manage the operations of the Staffing Services function and coach a high-performing team of staffing specialists. Will be responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the function and for advancing and supporting MIT’s long-standing commitment to workplace diversity, affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity. Responsibilities including working closely with the assistant director on developing and managing project plans to implement and advance strategic priorities; partnering on strategies for using diversity data to improve the diversity of candidate pools; identifying and analyzing trends in order to manage and allocate the workload and support hiring managers in meeting their staffing goals; providing full spectrum of recruiting services for select requisitions and during peak periods; consulting with hiring managers around the recruiting and hiring process; developing and deliver training workshops for hiring managers; managing change requests/enhancements for the applicant tracking system; overseeing relationships with preferred executive search firm and temporary staffing suppliers; collaborating on process and quality improvement efforts; developing work and development goals with the staffing specialists; developing and participating in networking/hiring events on-campus; and performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; seven years’ recruiting experience in a highly consultative recruiting environment; experience managing a staffing/recruiting function, preferably in a highly decentralized environment; experience with applicant tracking systems; project management experience; strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills; knowledge of OFCCP regulations and EEO and affirmative action laws/requirements; and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
