Fellowship in Islamic Finance

Applications are invited for a Fellowship from those with university teaching experience and an active research interest in Islamic Finance.

The successful candidate would be entitled to full membership of the Centre which is a Recognised Independent Centre of the University of Oxford and is dedicated to the multi-disciplinary study of the Muslim world. He/she would be expected to undertake teaching duties and research supervision and to coordinate the Centre’s initiatives in the field of Islamic Finance, as part of its multi-disciplinary team.  The Fellowship is offered in association with the University’s Department of International Development (ODID) where the Fellow may hold an Islamic Centre Lecturership.  The ODID Lecturership will be coterminous with the OCIS Fellowship and will be subject to review every five years. 

The Fellowship is subject to a 1 year probationary period. A competitive salary in the range £39,639 - £53,226 will be determined by qualifications and experience.
