The Department of Accounting and Financial Management at QMUL is looking to appoint part-time Teaching Fellows in Accounting and in Finance. The Department offers a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes: BSc Accounting and Management; BSc Accounting and Finance; MSc International Financial Management; MSc Accounting and Finance; MSc Accounting and Management.
The Teaching Fellows will be primarily responsible for the organisation, delivery and assessment of allocated modules. They will be expected to engage at undergraduate level. Prior experience of postgraduate teaching and/or dissertation supervision would be a distinct advantage. Applicants must have experience of relevant teaching in the University sector and be able to present specialist material in a logical, coherent and interesting manner. We would expect to see evidence of a consistent record of excellence as an educator in accounting and/or finance.
We will consider applicants who are working towards a doctoral qualification in accounting or finance. Special consideration will also be given to applicants with relevant recent practical expertise and professional qualifications.
The post is fixed term from September 2019 to end of August 2020.
