Job description

We are currently looking for an International Partnership Manager to join our International Recruitment Team, who are part of our International Operations & Student Recruitment team. The team supports the delivery of the wider University 2020 and Internationalisation strategies, delivering effective and responsive recruitment, admissions and administration services to support the student journey both in Edinburgh and in conjunction with our partners around the world.

The role

As International Partnership Manager you will lead and manage international student recruitment and institutional partnerships from three key regions for the University. You will lead the strategic development and operational management of the University's international recruitment activities in Africa, Middle East & South Asia, ensuring you are contributing to institutional targets.

You will play a key role in representing the University on visits overseas to target recruitment markets, ensuring you are continuously promoting Edinburgh Napier through education fairs and targeted visits, and developing and managing relationships with our network of partner universities, study abroad providers and education agent's in-country.

You will provide leadership and line management of a regional team of staff with responsibility for driving international student recruitment in Africa, Middle East & South Asia.

This is a great opportunity to be proactive and provide strong collaboration with a variety of networks and relationships across the world. Please note you will be expected to travel overseas regularly within this position.

Who we are looking for

You will demonstrate extensive experience of international student recruitment and/or marketing and the ability to negotiate and manage international partnerships. Experience of managing budgets and first line management is desirable.

You will have strong interpersonal and team-working skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and a network of contacts.

It would be advantageous if you are fluent (spoken and written) in a relevant second language.
