Flinders University is a dynamic, progressive Australian institution with a reputation for excellence in teaching and research. There is a longstanding partnership between the College and Flinders Medical Centre, and the College continues to develop partnerships with healthcare institutions throughout the Central Australian Corridor.

The College is now seeking to appoint the inaugural Dean (Rural and Remote Health) to lead and continue to grow the University’s work in delivering transformative education and healthcare to rural and remote communities in Australia. The Dean will provide strategic leadership and management to the Flinders NT and rural South Australian locations, including The Centre for Remote Health, The Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and the Northern Territory Medical Program.

The successful individual will bring demonstrated leadership within a rural or remote setting. In addition, individuals must have evidence of a track record of forging successful partnerships with communities, including Indigenous communities, governments and health care providers across Australia. The successful candidate will provide leadership in enhancing the profile of the Flinders University Rural and Remote Health discipline locally, nationally and internationally.
