Events Officer x2

Middlesex is an amazing university with a compelling story to tell.  We transform students’ potential into success and inspire them to achieve and do things they never thought possible.

Be part of the talented and innovative area putting Middlesex University on the map by joining our newly formed Commercial Group, with expanded marketing and communications teams.  We are looking for a range of highly motivated marketing and communications professionals to join these ambitious teams.  Based at our campus in Hendon, North London, they work collectively to raise awareness of Middlesex University and support student recruitment targets, as well as drive our reputational goals.

The Events Officer is responsible for planning and delivering innovative experiential student recruitment events, both on- and off-campus. They will develop and ensure the delivery of a programme of engaging and targeted student recruitment events for specific customer segments across the prospective student journey (pre-application and post-application conversion events).

The role ensures our events effectively convey all aspects of student life at Middlesex University, both academic and social, and respond to the specific needs of prospective students at each point in their journey. The events capitalise on Middlesex’s campus, its students and staff to deliver an outstanding and differentiated experience which meets and exceeds targets aligned to prospective student growth. The post holder will work with the Conversion & CRM Officers on the development of compelling communications which will drive up attendance at events and which provide effective follow-up to convert leads, ensuring the success of the event.
We have two Events Officer roles available.  To excel in this role, you’ll have significant experience of managing or coordinating events, and the creative skills to bring Middlesex’s key messages to life through its students and staff at its events.  You’ll couple this with exceptional planning and project management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to develop effective working relationships.
