CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER, edX, to have a direct impact on growing edX’s enterprise, master’s degrees, and consumer businesses in a dynamic, mission-driven organization. Will work as part of the marketing team to develop content strategies, create compelling content, and expand edX’s digital footprint. Responsibilities include managing content marketing strategies and asset creation across multiple areas (edX For Business, master’s degrees, and B2C business); driving growth of enterprise and degrees businesses through inbound marketing efforts, specifically medium to long form copy; creating evergreen resources to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics; owning edX blogs and developing a blog content strategy to help drive business goals; collaborating with edX designers/product marketers/sales professionals/external influencers/industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of stakeholders and audience; developing a reporting framework; building and managing an editorial calendar; and influencing B2C marketing program plans and tactics to enhance reach and visibility.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: four years’ content marketing/production experience; understanding of SEO, inbound and content marketing strategies, content categorization, development, distribution, and measurement; ability to tell stories in compelling, meaningful ways that generate interest; excellent copywriting, copyediting, proofreading, verbal communication, interpersonal, listening, relationship building, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines; self-motivation and initiative; comfort with experimenting, testing out fresh ideas, and navigating uncharted territory; ability to work in both structured and ambiguous environments; and attention to detail.
