Applications are invited for the full-time post of Doctoral School Recruitment & Scholarships Administration Manager in the Doctoral School. This role is available from 01 October 2019 and is Fixed-term until 30/09/2027.
Academic Administration at Royal Holloway is organised into six School Administration teams and the Doctoral School, which are all part of the Academic Services directorate; a single professional service which supports the student journey.
The Doctoral School Recruitment & Scholarships Administration Manager role will be responsible for the operational management of a variety of tasks and processes to relating to funding, scholarships, recruitment and admission of PGR students. This includes supporting the operational delivery of Royal Holloway’s UKRI (UK Research & Innovation) Doctoral Training Partnerships and other sources of PGR funding, including the techne Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP); a consortium of nine universities in London and the south-east, led by Royal Holloway, which awards AHRC doctoral studentships and provides training and development opportunities for students.
They will support the Doctoral School’s vision and service standards and work closely with colleagues within the Doctoral School, other Professional Services and the Academic Schools.
Candidates should have excellent organisational and communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team with conflicting priorities. They should also be committed to contributing to the continual development and provision of a high quality service to research students and staff.
