Salary £33199 - £37345 per annum
Closing date for applications 22-Aug-2019

CELFS is an ambitious Centre with growth and enhancement plans for all its core provision: pre-sessional EAP for international students, Academic Language and Literacy development opportunities for any current UG and PG student, and an International Foundation Programme for pre-UG international students.

We are looking for a committed EAP professional who will flourish in the dynamic friendly atmosphere of our Centre. You will be teaching across our provision as well as engaging in Scholarship and CPD. Your non-teaching time will be an opportunity to develop materials writing or assessment writing skills as part of project teams. We are especially interested to hear from teachers with an interest in and commitment to online learning as we are developing a blended approach in much of our provision.

As a Centre, we adhere to the principles of collaboration, development, reflexivity, autonomy, transparency and transferability at all levels of our operation. If you feel that these principles are a good fit for your own, then we look forward to receiving an application from you detailing how you can contribute to the Centre’s success in this role. In turn, we will work with you to further your development as an EAP practitioner.

We anticipate a start date of 23rd Sept 2019. Interviews are likely to be Thursday 5th September. We are happy to interview via Skype if necessary but would need to meet any candidate in person before making a firm offer. Job share is welcome.

Please have a good look at our website to get a feel for what we do and how we do it. Please note that all CVs and cover letters go through the university HR website as part of the application process. http://www.bristol.ac.uk/jobs/ This is where you will also find a complete role description which should be addressed in your cover letter. For any further information, please contact lisa.hanson@bristol.ac.uk

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
