This is a full time fixed term position.

Working in a Research Partnership with Durham Constabulary, Durham University Business School is undertaking collaborative research in policing to increase knowledge of factors that affect police officer and staff attitudes, well-being and service delivery for the public. The collaborative research project is underpinned by and builds upon the research from the International Centre for Leadership and Followership (ICLF).

Suitable candidates are invited to apply for the post of Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to support meeting the aims and objectives of the ICLF Policing Research Unit. The PDRA appointed will work in close coordination with the Principle Investigator Dr Les Graham and it is critical that s/he collaborates with the other team members in the ICLF Policing Research Unit and with external partners.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate research skills and interests complementary to those of the collaborative research being undertaken by the ICLF Policing Research Unit. The post holder will need to be familiar with large scale quantitative research, ideally in a policing context, and due to the sensitive nature of the data will be in possession of, or eligible to achieve, NPPV Level 2 vetted security clearance status.
