Role Description

Cranfield School of Management (SOM) has long been recognised as one of the most established and prestigious business schools in the UK. With over 40 years’ experience of educating business leaders, SOM is a Financial Times’ top 40 school and is triple accredited by EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB. It is known for its excellence in leadership development, its deep-rooted relationships with organisations of all kinds, and its focus on transforming learning and research into improved management practice.

The Strategy Group has a long tradition of excellent teaching and rigorous, relevant research. We have a strong doctoral research programme which includes PhD and DBA candidates. It delivers core and elective Strategic Management modules on a range of Masters programmes including the Masters of Business Administration and MSc in Management. It is also focused on delivering high impact executive education either through open or customised programmes, where we build strategic capability with international clients in both the private and public sectors.

Reporting to the Head of the Strategy Group, you will already have a strong publications record in the field of Strategic Management. You will also hold a PhD in Strategic Management (or related subject). We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in post-graduate and post-experience level teaching. Cranfield also values industrial experience and therefore candidates who have practical experience of working in strategy related roles will be considered positively.

Cranfield academics are enthusiastic and informed. We are looking for a like-minded individual with the ability to work in a team to develop world class thought leadership and learning experiences.

For an informal discussion, please contact Jayne Ashley, Executive Administrator, on (T); +44 (0)1234 75 3879 or (E); j.ashley@cranfield.ac.uk

At Cranfield, we value Diversity and Inclusion, and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential. We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role.
