The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes. The School has forged a reputation for world-leading research and teaching in the areas of innovation, analytics, entrepreneurship, and the creation and growth of technology-intensive organisations.

The School is a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools. Our academic staff, comprised of 96 academic and teaching faculty, is organised around five research groups, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Organisations & Innovation, Operations & Technology, Marketing & Analytics, and Finance, Accounting & Economics. We offer undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Management for Business, and Management Science. We also teach a variety of elective courses in finance, management and entrepreneurship in various other departments around UCL.

Our research is interdisciplinary in nature, and we collaborate intensely with other UCL departments, including life and biomedical sciences, psychology, computer science, statistics and economics. We are also heavily engaged with the end users of our research, in industry, consulting and finance.

The UCL School of Management is looking to appoint a full-time Principal Teaching Fellow in any business and management discipline or an adjacent field. Reporting to the School Director, the Principal Teaching Fellow will hold a role as Deputy Director (Teaching, Learning and Student Experience) and will in this capacity contribute to the School’s Senior Management Team with a responsibility for enhancing the student experience. The post-holder will set the School’s educational vision and oversee its implementation through the design, delivery and evaluation of professional development activities for the School’s Faculty. The Deputy Director will also work with students and programme directors to provide an outstanding student experience in alignment with the School’s strategic priorities in entrepreneurship, technology, innovation and analytics. Additionally, the post-holder will design, deliver and assess a number of modules as a module leader for modules as appropriate, together with dissertation supervision, personal tutoring and wider educational and citizenship roles.

If you have a Doctoral degree or equivalent, current industry experience and solid knowledge of theory in a subject relevant to the domain area and experience of teaching undergraduate/postgraduate students in a higher education institution, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
