Job Purpose

The School of Business and Technology is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual reporting to the Head of Corporate Operations and as part of the school operations team. The post holder will be responsible for the managing the activity related to the delivery of one of the following key areas in the corporate programme space:

  • Technology Professional Apprenticeships
  • Degree Apprenticeships
  • Graduate/Corporate Programmes

Full Description

  • Line Management of a small team consisting of Programme Support Officer(s) and Programme Operations Administrator(s)
  • Management and enhancement of online delivery services and processes for the school
  • Management of the activity calendar across corporate programmes in the school and providing regular updates to appropriate committees and leads
  • School liaison with the centralised operational Live and VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) Teams
  • Management of the audit on learner course bookings for online programmes and ensuring appropriate access to resources
  • Auditing Adobe live delivery dates, times and links for students, faculty, associates and the VLE
  • Management of the live delivery issues log and quality escalations
  • Auditing VLE, Adobe Live and grouping links
  • Working with resourcing to ensure sessions are appropriately covered for last minute changes
  • Attendance at resourcing and school committees
  • Working with Client Services team to message any live delivery issues
  • Review of the operational activity calendar for the school, ensuring SLA’s are met within appropriate timeframes
  • Programme delivery related cost tracking and reporting to the Senior Management Team
  • Supporting the operationalisation of the student engagement policy and ensure SLA’s are met
  • Review quality and accuracy of student tracking data in the school
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with regulatory bodies (OFSTED, OfS, ESFA)
  • Evaluation of student queries and strategies to support engagement with student information
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate systems and processes within the school
  • Ensuring accurate information and updates are given in student communications 
  • Reviewing and enhancing KPIs within the team
  • Creating and defining measureable outputs relating to student support
