We are seeking a Trial Administrator for the PURSUIT trial (Proper Understanding of Recurrent Stress Urinary Incontinence Treatment in women). This post offers an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team within the University of Bristol, and collaborators at participating NHS hospitals. As an integral member of the team, in this role you will provide administrative, project management and practical support to the Trial Managers, Chief Investigator and other researchers working on the project, as well as liaising with participants, NHS hospitals and research networks.

PURSUIT is a NIHR-HTA funded randomised controlled trial of endoscopic and surgical treatment to explore whether surgical or endoscopic interventions improve continence. 250 women will be recruited from 20 NHS urology and urogynaecology referral units across the UK.

Based within the Bristol Randomised Trials Collaboration (BRTC), a UKCRC-registered trials unit the post holder will provide administrative and clerical support to the PURSUIT trial and immediate team members. In particular the post holder will be largely responsible for entering returned trial data onto the electronic trial database, sending and monitoring of postal questionnaires, archiving study forms, updating the website and maintaining study files and related paperwork. The post holder will also be required to work effectively with participants, research and clinical staff in the School and across the UK at multiple PURSUIT centres. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to be highly organised and take an appropriate level of responsibility.
