PROSPECT RESEARCH ANALYST 1, Resource Development-Office of Prospect Development, to join the group which contributes to the fund-raising efforts of the Institute by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information to direct and inform solicitation and engagement strategy for prospective donors. Prospect Development promotes a culture of donor-centric fund-raising in order to build meaningful donor relationships and strong philanthropic connections to the Institute.  Will research, compile, and analyze detailed financial, biographical, and other publicly available information on individual prospective donors to determine their relationship with the Institute, their philanthropic interests, and their potential giving capacity; and identify new individual prospective donors for specific Institute initiatives, priorities, and units. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a bachelor's degree; at least two years' relevant work experience; proficiency with computers (preferably Macintosh), standard office software (MS Office), and online databases; strong research, writing, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; familiarity with standard references; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; and excellent judgment.  Must be able to ability to collaborate, build relationships, and achieve results within a population that may possess competing interests, opinions, and/or expectations; analyze and synthesize information, particularly the evaluation and interpretation of financial data and individual wealth indicators; interact effectively with others for the purpose of soliciting information and prioritizing work assignments; and meet deadlines and work under time constraints.  Experience with development research in a development operation is preferred.  Job #17717-6
