DIRECTOR OR U.S. CUSTOM CONTENT, MIT Technology Review (MITTR), to play a key role in MIT Technology Review Insights, the custom content arm of MIT Technology Review. Will use deep knowledge of technology and business to lead the growth of MITTR’s custom content business; function as an external ambassador for MITTR’s thought-leadership practice, sharing its viewpoints while ensuring the commercial success of the unit; provide commercial content analysis; and work with sales teams and clients to produce and deliver sponsored content to senior executives the world over.
REQUIRED: B.S. in business or related field; at least five years of experience in business journalism and/or consulting with leading international publishing/research houses; excellent organizational, public speaking, and oral and written communication skills; ability to make connections and facilitate discussions; detail-orientation; ability to follow through; digital and social media skills/experience; a flexible approach to work, including the ability to roll up sleeves to get the job done; and wide-ranging knowledge of the business environments in the U.S. and globally. Seek a professional with deep knowledge of how technology affects society, business, and technology information in the larger media marketplace and experience in commercial content analysis.
Must be able to travel domestically 10% of the time.
