CAREER DEVELOPMENT OFFICE ASSISTANT, COMMUNICATIONS, Sloan School of Management-Career Development Office (CDO), to serve as a first point of contact for students and guests and a central resource for information about CDO services.  Will create collaborative relationships with students, staff, employers, and faculty; report to the senior associate director of marketing and operations and support CDO front desk operations; contribute to the creation of publications and dashboards; post content on the CDO online communities and/or websites; support a team of career advisors and coaches, assisting with the preparation of presentations and handouts and adding career advising appointments into the career management system; and provide supplemental support on projects, events, and communications managed by others. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  at least three years’ experience, preferably in an administrative, customer service, or communications role; a high school diploma or its equivalent; excellent interpersonal, telephone, written and oral communication, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize projects and competing demands, meet deadlines, and work effectively as a team member in a dynamic and customer service-oriented environment; good judgment in addressing urgent requests; ability to enter a high volume of appointments with accuracy; keen eye for detail when creating or proofreading handouts, presentations and posters; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software and applications.  Experience with Publisher and Photoshop highly desired.  A bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Job #17704-5
