This is a full time, permanent position.

The post of Senior Analyst Rankings & AOL at Durham University Business School presents a range of exciting challenges for a skilled and experienced practitioner in the field of data analysis. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the Higher Education sector, as well as a wealth of data analysis skills, including an understanding of the metrics which inform research and education performance.

The successful candidate will plan and coordinate Business School related rankings and assurance of learning activities and manage analysis and planning projects across the Business School, contributing to the development of appropriate management and market information to aid decision making.

The post holder will support the Rankings and Management Information Manager by co-ordinating internal data for rankings, Assurance of Learning and student satisfaction, making recommendations where appropriate. The School’s enhancement and development agenda will be supported via collation and analysis of external business school competitor data. They will be a data specialist who is able to engage with external agencies to exchange information and interpret external requirements in the operating context of the School.

The role of Senior Analyst Rankings & AOL is to provide specialist support across a range of activities relating to academic quality assurance and the achievement of the Business School’s strategic objectives, including maintaining its triple accredited status and optimising its ranking position.

To this end the post holder will have responsibility for implementing and monitoring policies and activities in support of the School’s overall Education Strategy, with particular emphasis on rankings, student engagement, accreditation, and a wide range of quality enhancement mechanisms required to maintain triple accredited status of the Business School. They will also be expected to make an active contribution to policy development in these areas, working alongside senior colleagues.

The role demands an excellent ability to collect, analyse and interpret a wide range of information.
