Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (Ref.: 497067), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Social Science, Education, or other related disciplines. They should have a strong record of internationally recognized scholarship and the ability to work across disciplines and new research initiatives. They should also have a good track record of teaching and conducting high-quality research as indicated by publications and external grants. The appointee will participate in conducting short-term experiments and research activities as well as ensuring the consistency with established methodological approaches and models.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
