Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 497217), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants for the Post-doctoral Fellow position should possess a Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, Psychology, or a related discipline. They should be familiar with programming languages such as SAS or R. They should also have an adequate knowledge of quantitative research methods as well as a good command of written and spoken English. Those with expertise in data engineering, especially in handling large datasets, and/or experience in health science research will be preferred. Those with less qualification may be considered as Senior Research Assistant.
The appointee will work in a flexible environment on multiple projects on big data analytics in health and mental health with opportunities to collaborate with computer science and social science experts.
