About the opportunity 

The Manager, Student Experience will work closely with the Associate Dean Student Life and Associate Dean Education within the School and the DVE Education Portfolio to support the operationalisation and execution of the Student Experience Strategy to implement a comprehensive, University-wide strategy that engages students through a range of programs, activities and services that promote a sense of belonging, retention and success, from orientation to graduation.

The Manager, Student Experience will lead teams in Student Affairs, Student Life and Student Information and Communication to optimise student success ensuring there is a culture focussed on delivering innovation and service excellence which is student-centric, putting our students at the centre of all we do.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading a large team and driving a high-performance culture in a service-orientated culture
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in delivering customer-centric services and demonstrated high level communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate staff ensuring that team members are developed to their full potential within a client service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement integrated communication strategies engaging a range of stakeholders
