011664 – External Ad - Teaching Fellow in Social Work, UCD School of Social Policy Social Work and Social Justice (Temporary, 1 Year Role)
UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice seek to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Social Work. Applicants must hold a degree in relevant social science discipline and a professional qualification in social work. They must be registered as social workers with CORU (the health and social care professionals council for Ireland) or be eligible to secure CORU registration. Secondment of practising social workers into the post may be facilitated.
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute primarily to teaching on the Professional Master of Social Work (PMSW) and the undergraduate social work modules. They may be asked to contribute to other teaching in the School. They will also be expected to prepare social work students for practice and support them on placement, and to carry out administrative functions as identified by the Head of School.
Fixed Salary: €39,000 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
