The University’s Temporary Staffing Service (TSS) has a vacancy for 3 full-time Administrators.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and challenging role in the new arm of the TSS, working in the Casuals, Academic & Guest (CAG) team and delivering this busy service for the University. You will be working a fast-paced and demanding environment providing support for managers and workers to fill roles to very short deadlines and dealing with a high volume of calls and emails.
You will be the first point of contact for the service, so you will need to be confident in dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also provide advice and support on issues and queries that may emerge, so you will need to be confident in using your experience and judgements to take decisions. There will be a large volume of admin related to the high volume of roles filled each week, so it is important that are confident in working proactively and effectively under pressure, and able to prioritise conflicting demands on your time.
The post will require strong communication and customer service skills.
You will have administrative experience gained in a busy office environment, where you will have developed excellent organisation and time management skills. You will be part of a small team meeting temporary needs across the University, so you must be flexible and able to work under pressure and be able to demonstrate your commitment to delivering a quality service.
If you have these skills, and you would like to work in a fast-paced and challenging role with lots of stakeholder contact, we’d love to hear from you.
