We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our Specialist Tutoring and Mentoring Team.  This is a newly formed team of professionally qualified Study Skills Tutors and Mentors who provide individual study related tutoring support for students who have a Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) / are on the Autistic Spectrum (AS), and mentoring support for students who have Mental Health (MHC) / are on the Autistic Spectrum (AS). 

The role of the Administrator will support the services of the team, providing effective administrative and financial processing of the Disabled Student Allowance.  Effective communication skills and a customer focus are essential as you will act as a point of contact for student/applicant enquiries via e-mail, telephone and in person.  You will be joining a DSA-QAG accredited service in a university that has an excellent record of supporting students with disabilities.

Candidates must have -

  • experience of recording and maintaining data, such as financial records, with use of excel and databases.
  • experience of working in an office environment and managing a busy shared in-box.
  • experience of working as part of a small team, sharing information with other departments, whilst  being aware of the sensitive and confidential nature of the role.
